Ford (Dunton Campus)
Ford of Britain (Dunton Campus) is a subsidiary of Ford Technologies Limited. Its business started in 1909 and has its registered office in Laindon, Essex. It adopted the name of Ford of Britain in 1960.
The company operates three major manufacturing sites in the UK, in Dagenham (engine production), Halewood (transmissions) and Bridgend (engine production). It also operates a large research and development facility in Dunton, Essex, which employs over 3,000 engineers.
