The WEC Platform team is building a next generation synchronization platform from ground up to enable accessing and sharing media content across PC(s), mobile device, Xbox and cloud. We are actively partnering with multiple Microsoft groups to light up these scenarios in seamless manner. We are seeking to hire a passionate developer with strong technical and development skills, customer focus, great team player attitude, ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies and drive for results. This is a unique opportunity to lead the entertainment industry by enabling access to user's media on any devices.
Primary Responsibilities Contribute in creating sync engine that enable seamless access to content Design, development and timely delivery of high quality platform code. Partner with PM and test teams as well as relevant Microsoft groups to deliver solution from conception to delivery. Contribute to feature discussions, design and code reviews.
Required Skills and Experience 3-5 years of experience designing & developing robust, extensible and testable code Passion for engineering excellence and quality in code & design Strong native C++ coding skills Excellent customer focus along with solid communication & cross-group skills A BS or MS degree in CS/CE or EE Pluses: Passion for design patterns Experience with Test Driven Development Competency or familiarity with data synchronization concepts Familiarity with C#
